What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accountant position at Insight?
Prepare both Microsoft Excel and Electronic System generated versions
of financial statements and reports relating to financial performance.
Conduct variance analyses between actual and budget.
Ensure accounting transactions have the proper classification in
accordance with general accepted accounting principles. Ensuring the
local RHM (Mercy Hospital) and system office (Trinity Health) general
ledger chart of accounts and department cost centers are setup in the
general ledger accounting system.
Serve as primary or secondary person for reconciling fixed assets
including capital expenditures reporting, budget preparation, and assist
department managers in the preparation of preparing business plans for capital projects.
Prepare journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations and
resolve outstanding issues.
Serve as resource person in providing assistance to other accountants
and managers both within and outside the Finance Department.
