What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Financial Analyst (FP&A) position at Insight?
What you’ll do at Insight
- Responsible for providing financial reporting, analysis and planning support to business partners and Executive leadership.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to department and Executive leadership on their forecasts, budgets and all financial aspects of their operational decisions
- Project planner for small Sales, Product Management, and Corporate size projects as assigned
- Build and maintain intermediate financial Sales, Product Management, and or Corporate models
- Create OPEX budgets (Expense, Headcount, CAPEX, etc.)
- Perform process improvements and provide recommendations
- Create internal reports and dashboards. You will be recognized internally as a subject matter expert
- Leads and contributes to development of company objectives and principles to achieve goals in creative and effective ways
- Gather, organize, and present complex financial data and information to several diverse stakeholders/audiences, including executive team and board members
- Performs various ad-hoc analysis for leaders and key decision makers
What you’ll need to join Insight
- Bachelor’s Degree (Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Accounting / Finance); Master’s in business administration or other Finance discipline preferred
- 7-10 years’ experience in high performing FP&A function, preferably fortune 500
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking including critical/problem solving
- Adopt a growth mindset with natural curiosity to learn and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Embrace the “yes and” mindset of willingness to help and be a part of the solution
- Owns responsibilities end-to-end with in an independent manner.
- Drives FP&A strategy analysis for Sr Executive Leadership
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate effectively with various organizational levels
- Advanced MS Excel and Intermediate SQL, SAP and PowerBI skills
