Job Overview
RN to join our Radiation Oncology Clinic Setting. Essential duties of the position include accurate patient history intake, assessment, assist with refills, patient communication, education and coordination across the continuum of care; while working closely with the cancer care interdisciplinary team. 2 years of clinic experience preferred, oncology experience required, Epic experience required.
Duties
- Administer chemotherapy treatments and medications
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, reactions to treatments, and progress
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, side effects, and self-care techniques
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients throughout their cancer journey
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Requirements
- Experience in venipuncture and IV therapy
- Previous work experience in a teaching hospital or oncology setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of physiology, particularly related to oncology care
- Familiarity with emergency medicine practices, especially in an ER or Level I Trauma Center
- Ability to provide specialized care in areas such as infectious diseases, ophthalmology, cardiac catheterization, and hospice palliative medicine

Pay: $61.63 - $62.55 per hour
