THE ROLE
AAA is looking for a Bookkeeper who will be responsible for the accounting operations of the company, including but not limited to : the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk. Bookkeeper enhances the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensures that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards. This is not a remote position and is located in Woodland Hills, CA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting
- Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
- Run payroll with ADP
- Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
- make certain that accounts receivable are collected promptly
- Process payroll in a timely manner
- Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed
- Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis
- Must be computer savvy.
- Maintain the chart of accounts
- Manage and oversee all day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and collections, fixed assets and tax compliance
- preserve an orderly accounting filing system
- Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
- Prepare monthly account analysis and financial and operational reports to identify and explain fluctuations in performance

Hiring Salary Range : $25.00 - 35.00 USD per hour
