Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to oversee the auditing of reports for inspections on high-value homes and ensure the accurate completion of replacement cost valuations. This role is integral to maintaining the highest quality standards in the inspection process for high-end residential properties and ensuring that all reports align with industry standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit Inspection Reports: Review inspection reports for high-value homes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency in the documentation. Verify that inspections meet client specifications.
- Replacement Cost Valuations: Complete thorough replacement cost valuations through valuation software.
- Quality Control: Ensure all reports are error-free and adhere to company guidelines, regulatory requirements, and best practices for property inspections and valuations.
- Report Generation: Create and maintain QA performance reports, highlighting trends, common issues, and areas for improvement in the inspection and valuation process.
- Training and Support: Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement to inspection teams. Assist in training new staff in QA procedures and inspection standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance audit processes, increase efficiency, and reduce errors, contributing to the overall improvement of service quality.
- Client Communication: Assist in addressing client concerns or issues related to inspection reports and valuations, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge on construction and/or insurance verbiage.
- Proven experience in quality assurance, property inspections, and/or insurance valuation.
- Strong understanding of high-value home inspections and the factors affecting replacement cost valuations.
- Attention to detail with the ability to spot discrepancies and errors in complex reports.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property inspection/valuation software.
