To be successful, you should have:

• 2-4 years of experience in banking deposit operations, familiarity with support functions.
• Competence with Microsoft Office products; experience with BSA/AML software and FIS Horizon Core Banking System is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
• Dedication to helping customers resolve issues with professionalism and care.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.

Your responsibilities as the Retail Banking Deposit Operations Generalist will include:

• Conduct daily reviews of exception items, including extensive item reviews, chargebacks, return items, and check adjustments.
• Address customer inquiries, provide appropriate solutions, and ensure timely resolution of issues related to deposit operations.
• Research and resolve fraudulent payments and checks while ensuring compliance with CIP requirements, BSA/AML regulations, and NACHA guidelines.
• Establish and maintain consumer access to online and mobile banking, support commercial online banking services onboarding, and assist with wire authentication and processing.
• Perform daily and monthly account reconciliations for monetary instruments, teller over/short accounts, and department general ledgers while assisting in audit documentation preparation.
