As the Vice President of Organizational Development, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our client’s organization by leading the assessment of their team’s developmental needs. You will design and implement impactful programs to foster team members' professional growth and continuous learning, with a primary focus on supporting executives and emerging leaders. Collaborating with leadership, you will drive initiatives that enhance leadership capabilities, build a high-performing culture, and ensure long-term organizational success. Your efforts will support the development of effective leadership strategies, promote team engagement, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement across all levels.
To succeed as the VP of Organizational Development, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field; an advanced degree or certification is a plus.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to evaluate and design practical training programs and development strategies.
- Financial Services background.
- Human resources background with a strong understanding of employee relations.
Your responsibilities as the VP of Organizational Development will include:
- Build and develop teams and technology resources to ensure regulatory compliance, recordkeeping, and workforce metrics analysis.
- Assist in assessing organizational development (OD) needs across all credit union departments.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of training programs, policies, and strategies aligned with OD goals.
- Implement end-to-end OD strategies that cover talent acquisition, training, compensation, benefits, labor relations, culture enhancement, and employee support.
- Evaluate strategies and programs to measure goal achievement and effectiveness.
- Provide expert facilitation and coaching to supervisors and managers on OD tools and methods.
