Job Description
The region's leading network of healthcare providers, Inspira Health, is seeking an Information Systems Network Architect to join their team at the Bridgeton, NJ location.
This is a hybrid position based in Bridgeton, NJ, and requires responsibility for designing, implementing, and optimizing network solutions that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement network solutions tailored to business requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- Conduct network assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with Systems Engineering and Telecom teams to ensure network design supports all necessary platforms.
- Lead cabling optimization projects, ensuring compliance with industry cabling standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to define project scope and objectives, and provide technical leadership and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing expert guidance and solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of network designs, configurations, and changes.
- Provide training and support to internal teams as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 8 years of experience in network architecture and design, with a strong focus on both enterprise wired and wireless networks.
- Completed CCNA, or must be completed within 3 months of hire.
- CompTIA A and CCNP Enterprise required.
- Expertise in networking technologies, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and advanced wireless solutions (e.g., Wi-Fi 6, mesh networking).
- Experience with migrating/refreshing projects from one platform to another.
- Proficiency with network management and monitoring tools (e.g., Arista, Aruba, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
- In-depth knowledge of cabling standards and experience leading cabling optimization projects with a strong understanding of Layer 1 network technologies (cabling, connectors, fiber, wireless, etc.).
- Solid understanding of network security protocols and practices.
- Familiarity with cloud networking solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments is a plus.
