What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supervisor, IBCU/CAMHU - Child/Adolescent MHU - Bridgeton position at Inspira Health Network?
MAJOR FUNCTION:
This position is responsible for directing and providing supervision for the clinical team in the inpatient CCIS/CAMHU units in accordance with professional standards and requirements of licensing and accrediting bodies. Also responsible for developing & implementing psychosocial activities; managing schedules/vacations of clinical staff in department; and assisting in the evaluation and oversight of clinical staff in department.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
- Master’s degree in social work or counseling related field required.
- A minimum of five years in social work or related field required.
- Previous clinical management experience preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years inpatient child mental health experience required.
Certification/Licensure:
- Current New Jersey licensure and clinical certification.
- LCSW, LPC, LMFT required.
- CCS preferred or must be obtained within two years.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Demonstrates working knowledge of DSM IV manual, community resources, discharge planning activities, basic leadership skills, and decision-making ability.
- Inspira inpatient mental health preferred.
- Knowledge of children system of care required.
