This role will be responsible for defining our target consumer, leading the development of our annual brand plan, and ensuring our marketing efforts deliver measurable business and consumer results.
Success in this role requires developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders (marketing team, commercial group, data & analytics, operations training, supply chain) and partners (franchisees & vendors). This role demands an individual who is skilled at partnering with cross-functional groups to work together to find solutions for complex projects. This role will interact regularly with senior management to provide recommendations and guidance that supports Arby’s business overall.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary lead in understanding our consumer, identifying key insights, and translating them into actionable marketing strategies.
- Develop the Annual Brand Plan, outlining objectives, strategies, and key measurable results to achieve business and consumer goals.
- Define the target consumer and oversee the insights and learning plan in partnership with Consumer & Guest Insights and the broader Marketing Team.
- Oversee the creation of Marketing Action Plans (MAPs) and Calendar Plans that translate strategy into execution.
- Deliver scorecards and reporting to evaluate performance and incremental impact for both test initiatives and national programs.
- Develop and execute a learning plan to generate actionable insights that shape future marketing initiatives, including calendar planning, product innovation, value propositions, and communication strategies.
- Work with cross-functional data & analytics team(s) for comprehensive analyses & ensure performance is monitored and addressed across activities.
Requirements:
- 4 Year Degree Preferred in Business/Marketing/Communications
- 7 years marketing experience required.
- Restaurant industry relevant experience preferred
- Strategically minded individual with strong communications skills with a range of audiences.
- 7 years of marketing experience, preferably in QSR, retail, or consumer-packaged goods (CPG).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to work and lead collaboration across a wide variety of work styles and personalities in a cross-functional team environment.
- Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and deliver on time.
- Ability to communicate at all levels to build relationships and enhance partnerships, both internal and external
- Ability to thrive in a demanding environment, multi-task, prioritize and be meticulous.
- Initiative-taker with an energetic personality who can operate with limited supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook applications (PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive).
