ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
The Medical Education Program Summer Intern will help develop and implement Healthcare Professional (HCP) Medical Education Programs, with a focus on the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Programs. The Medical Education Program Summer Intern will have the opportunity to assist with a variety of Medical Education programs that are offered at Inspire, including in-person learning programs and webinars. The Medical Education Summer Intern will also have the chance to participate in multiple Medical Education programs, team meetings, lead a summer project, be assigned various administrative tasks, and will be given opportunities to have a voice in Medical Education.
This is a hybrid position, requiring a presence in the office a few times each week. Therefore, applicants must be in the Twin Cities for the duration of the internship.
OPPORTUNITIES YOU WILL HAVE IN THIS ROLE
- Assist with the development and administrative tasks of various Medical Education programs, with a primary focus on the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Programs, along with assistance in other Medical Education programs as needed
- Collaborate with the program lead to help develop and execute a new webinar offering
- Collaborate with the program lead to develop, distribute, and analyze a field team survey
- Attend in-person Medical Education programs to help execute the program from start to finish. Roles include setting up program space, creating and assembling educational materials, assist program lead in welcoming and hosting attendees, creating and analyzing a program survey, and building relationships with our Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and field team.
- Build your understanding of the process to plan, build, and execute a small to large Medical Education program from 15 to 100 people
- Opportunities for public speaking

- Build communication skills and develop relationships with many departments within Inspire, including Inspire sales field and executive leadership, through video calls, phone calls, email, and in-office meetings

WHAT YOU CAN BRING TO OUR GREAT TEAM
Required:
- High School Diploma
- Actively working toward a four-year degree in Health Sciences, Nursing, Event Planning, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Stellar organizational skills
- Excellent with time management, promptness, and punctuality
- Basic knowledge of project management and local MedTech companies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new technical tools and applications
- When supporting local Medical Education programs at Inspire Headquarters, may need to stand or be stationary for extended periods of time
- Occasionally move boxes and items weighing up to 20 pounds within the office for various Medical Education programs.
Preferred:
- Prior utilization of online meeting space (Microsoft Teams or Zoom)
- Experience with event planning
- Ability to work independently, self-motivated
- Ability to work collaboratively, dedicated team member
- Curiosity and inquisitiveness, eager to learn
SALARY
The hourly rate for this position will be $20/hour. This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position at the time of posting. The salary range may be modified in the future and actual compensation may vary from the posting based on various factors such as geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
