Position Overview
We're seeking a dependable and hands-on Warehouse Associate to join our South Florida team, keeping our operations flowing smoothly. In this role, you'll receive, sort, and prepare custom closet projects for installation, handling everything from unloading trucks to operating forklifts with care. If you're strong, detail-focused, and ready to play a key part in delivering quality to our clients, you'll fit right in with our tight-knit crew.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Receiving
- Unload incoming project shipments from trucks, checking for accuracy and inspecting materials for damage.
- Sort and store custom closet components in the warehouse, ensuring they're organized and easy to access.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly for quick resolution.
Warehouse Operations
- Operate forklifts, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and hoists to move heavy inventory (up to 50 lbs) safely and efficiently.
- Prepare products for loading and distribution, staging them for installation teams with precision.
- Maintain a clean, orderly warehouse, keeping pathways clear and equipment in top shape.
Systems & Safety
- Learn and use our warehouse system to track inventory and update project statuses.
- Follow all safety protocols, from equipment handling to workspace standards, to protect yourself and the team.
- Contribute ideas to streamline processes and keep our warehouse running like clockwork.
Qualifications
- Experience
- 1 years in a warehouse environment preferred-experience with custom products or construction materials is a bonus.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts, hand trucks, or similar equipment (training available if needed).
- Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Skills
- Physical strength to lift and move up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure every project piece is handled and stored correctly.
- Ability to operate warehouse machinery safely and confidently.
- A team-player mindset with good communication skills to coordinate with colleagues.
- Reliable work ethic, eager to keep our operations on track and our clients happy.
