Inspired Options Inc., a human services agency making a meaningful difference in the lives of adults with autism and other intellectual / developmental disabilities in Maryland is looking for a Day Services Program Coordinator to enhance our team. Under the guidance of the Director of Programs, the Day Services Program Coordinator will be responsible for tasks that support individuals actively participate in community activities of their choosing in the community, including finding and maintaining paid employment in the community.
Essential Functions
- Develop and oversee individualized schedules and community activities
- Ensure meaningful community engagement, and manage day-to-day operations to enhance participants' quality of life
- Support daily group and skill-building activities in the community, helping individuals develop and maintain skills for competitive employment and community involvement
- Foster positive relationships with participants, staff, families, and community partners
- Use technology to support communication and service delivery
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements
- Monitor attendance and documentation for accurate billing
- Support recruitment, hiring, and training of new employees
Required Education/Certifications/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of related experience in Administrative, Operations, and/or Program-related job roles.
- Strong analytical and systems background skills and aptitude.
Preferred Education/Certifications/Experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Experience in employment support and Community Development Services working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Valid Maryland driver’s license and insured personal vehicle
