The Head of Admissions will drive enrolment success, from the initial point of enquiry from parents until the student enrolls in the school. This process will include responsibility for ensuring the entire database is fully utilised to allow relevant records to be accurate and up-to-date. The statistics generated will help the school to assess the extent to which the strategies employed are useful and if remedial action is required.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The aim is to secure student enrolment through the following:
- Implement Admissions Strategy – Execute the school’s admissions and commercial strategy, focusing on student acquisition and retention from inquiry to enrollment.
- Parent Communication – Serve as the first point of contact for prospective families, providing accurate and timely admissions information.
- Team Leadership & Training – Lead the Admissions team and support the Head of School & SLT in achieving enrollment targets through training and guidance.
- Campus Tours & Engagement – Conduct high-quality tours for prospective parents, businesses, and embassy representatives year-round.
- Service Standards & Quality Assurance – Ensure that admissions procedures meet high service standards and evolve based on parent expectations.
- Conversion & Retention – Optimize the admissions process to maximize student recruitment and guide the SLT in implementing best practices to increase retention.
- Marketing & Publications Support – Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, including newsletters, academic results, and school prospectuses.
- Networking & Partnerships – Build and maintain relationships with feeder schools, local businesses, and other key stakeholders to support enrollment efforts.
- Data Analysis & Forecasting – Maintain accurate admissions data, analyze trends, and provide insights for enrollment forecasting and strategic decision-making.
- Compliance & Admissions Policy – Ensure all admissions procedures align with Inspired Education’s Admissions Policy and appeal processes.
- Event Planning & Management – Organize and execute recruitment fairs, open houses, and admissions events, occasionally outside of regular working hours.
- Ambassadorial Role – Represent the school in external engagements, promoting its values and mission in the wider community.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Sales & Leadership Experience – Proven track record in sales management, exceeding targets, and leading business development teams.
- Marketing & Customer Relations – Understanding of sales and marketing principles, with strong interpersonal skills to build professional networks and drive customer advocacy.
- Data & IT Proficiency – Experience using CRM systems, MIS, and data analytics tools to support enrollment and strategic decision-making.
- Strategic & Analytical Thinking – Ability to analyze complex data, translate strategy into measurable actions, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
- Budget & Process Management – Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, optimize resources, and enhance systems for improved performance.
- Education Sector Experience (Preferred) – Experience in education admissions is desirable but not essential.
