Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a positive learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among children.
- Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support the overall growth of each child.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the educational experience for all students.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered.
- Teacher qualified by the state of Minnesota's standards.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and preschool curriculum.
- Experience working with children in daycare settings or similar environments is required.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
- A nurturing attitude and patience when working with young children.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not required at the time of hire; must be obtained shortly after employment.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
