Title: Capital Market Middle Office Analyst
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90071
Duration: 6 month contract 
Compensation: $31- $32hr 
Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US

Overview:
Capital Market Middle Office is a position that will develop and lead all aspect of strategic planning, maintain adequate operations procedures and systems for the Capital Market Operations within Business & Investment Services (B&IS).
This function covers incumbent's responsibilities for operations relating to all line of business within Capital Market, which include FX & Interest Rate Derivatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily operations and trade lifecycle events for FX and Interest Rate Sales & Trading desks.
•  Ensure accurate and timely trade entry, P&L reconciliation, and production of control and management reports.
• Partner closely with Front Office to support business goals, enhance productivity, ensure client satisfaction, and mitigate operational risks.
•  Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on business trends, regulatory updates, and strategic shifts.
• Lead or support initiatives such as cross-training, process improvements, and procedural documentation updates.
• Contribute to key Capital Market projects, ensuring deliverables meet deadlines and quality standards.
•  Identify and implement improvements to workflows, systems, and controls to boost efficiency and accuracy.
•  Ensure operations comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and risk management frameworks.
• Escalate and resolve risk, conduct, and compliance issues in an effective and timely manner.
• Maintain strong collaboration with affiliated Lines of Business and operational teams across the organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

•  Prior experience in a Middle Office or Operations role supporting Capital Markets, particularly FX and Interest Rate Derivatives.
•  Understanding of OTC Derivatives, Interest Rate Swaps, and clearing processes with LCH and CME.
• Familiarity with P&L and risk metrics with the ability to identify and explain discrepancies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and a self-starter mindset.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across Front Office, Risk, and Operations.
•  A strategic thinker who keeps abreast of market and economic trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

•  Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
•  Experience with Capital Market systems and trade booking platforms.
• Familiarity with automation and digital transformation initiatives in operational environments.
