Lead Solutions Architect

Job Title: Senior Solutions (System) Architect
Location: Remote (Eastern, Central, or Mountain time zones)
Rate: $14,000 - $15,000/month
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required
Clearance: Must be able to pass enhanced background screening (criminal, financial, drug) for Public Trust clearance

Job Summary:

We re seeking a Senior Solutions Architect with strong hands-on experience to lead a Cloud Team within an agile operations environment. The ideal candidate is highly technical, innovative, and capable of designing simple yet effective solutions for complex challenges. This is a fully remote opportunity offering the chance to work on cutting-edge cloud and modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as lead architect with hands-on experience in automation and cloud modernization efforts

• Develop repeatable cloud and application service solutions and technical artifacts

• Produce whitepapers and technical presentations

• Provide real-time issue troubleshooting and technical oversight

• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and innovations

• Define and document best practices for cloud and application services

• Effectively communicate complex technical topics to a wide range of audiences

• Attend industry conferences and vendor events

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree and 8 years of relevant experience (or equivalent additional experience in lieu of a degree)

• Expertise in designing and developing complex cloud and application solutions

• Strong cloud experience with AWS (primary) and Azure (secondary)

• Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitHub/GitLab, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, and serverless technologies

• Proven writing skills for technical proposals and whitepapers

• Broad technical background and strong research skills

• Experience in Agile and Scaled Agile Frameworks

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in government or federal environments

• Background in software development
