Job Description on Test Engineer
Test Engineer Responsibilities:
- Understand Agile project delivery model
- Writing test plans and creating test cases for the User stories.
- Conducting quality assurance and designing performance tests using the testing procedures.
- Troubleshooting any errors, analyzing results and identifying the root cause and streamlining the testing procedures.
- Writing up the final QA and test procedures for the quality technicians.
- Ensuring all tests and procedures meet company and industry standards.
- Preparing test reports for management.
- Documentation: Prepare documentation and review application specifications
- Time management: Meet deadlines and use time efficiently
- Attention to detail: Detect subtle defects to ensure high-quality software
- Staying current: Learn about new testing tools, techniques, and methodologies
Test Engineer Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or computer engineering.
- 5-6 years of work experience as a test engineer.
- Familiarity with testing tools including Azure DevOps, Selenium & JMeter.
- Extensive knowledge of engineering and testing procedures.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to project manage.
- Ability to troubleshoot and think out of the box.
