Job Title: RN Labor & Delivery
Location: Wenatchee, WA
Shift: 7:00 pm - 7:30 am
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
Duration: 13 weeks
Labor and Delivery RN for E/N shift. 7:00 pm - 7:30 am. Must have current NPR certified. No call.
COVID-19 Vaccine medical and religious exemptions will be reviewed on an individual basis. With an approved accommodation travelers will be required to follow the current CH masking protocol.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for maternal health and providing exceptional care to expectant mothers during one of the most important moments in their lives.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the health of mothers and babies during labor and delivery
- Assist with the birthing process, including coaching mothers through labor
- Administer medications as needed
- Perform assessments on both mothers and newborns post-delivery
- Educate new parents on newborn care and breastfeeding techniques
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Experience
- Previous experience in labor and delivery nursing is required
- Proficiency in basic life support and medication administration
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to labor and delivery
- Experience working with newborns and children is preferred
- Familiarity with acute care settings such as ER or urgent care is a plus
- Coding experience is beneficial for accurate documentation
