Medical Assistant/ Customer Service Representative : Spanish Bilingual preferred
Instic Health is an outpatient psychiatry group with multiple offices across FL. We are looking for highly motivated and adaptable individual to perform Medical Assistant duties. The position is consisting of administrative and clinical duties.
Administrative Duties (may include, but not limited to):
- · Use computer applications
- · Answer telephones and provide exceptional customer service
- · Welcome patients and answer their queries
- · Provide daily reports to general manager
- · Schedule appointments
- · Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
- · Handle correspondence, billing, and bookkeeping
· Clinical Duties (may include, but not limited to):
- · Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, and other information
- · Assist physicians during exams
- · Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
- · Perform basic laboratory tests
- · Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician
- · Transmit prescription refills as directed
Education:
Have high school diploma, bachelors degree, or equivalent. Medical Assistant Certification (preferably)
One to two years of experience in an outpatient facility preferably psychiatry.
Spanish bilingual preferred ****
