We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as our new career development manager! In this role, you'll manage a variety of programs aimed at college students to early career professionals which support our goal of making real estate management a career of choice.
Some specific responsibilities include :
- Building relationships with Academic Partners and conducting outreach efforts to build relationships with new colleges / universities collaborating throughout IREM to provide resources. You'll actively position yourself as the "go-to" resource for academic contacts.
- Managing, developing, and evaluating IREM’s student development and early career development programs and resources.
- Leveraging IREM offerings such as education, membership, and certification to demonstrate how IREM supports college students in their journey from college to real estate management careers.
- Creating and planning the development and delivery of job support initiatives. You'll build resources for our chapters to support these initiatives at the local level.
- Representing IREM at annual in-person and virtual university board meetings tracking information and serving as a resource for the university board members.
- Presenting at virtual and in-person events to build relationships and share information.
- Serving as a HQ liaison to relevant committees and workgroups.
Our hybrid work schedule allows our team members to balance their personal and professional lives. You'll need to come into the office 1-2 days / week to connect and collaborate. For this reason, we can only consider candidates who are able to commute weekly into our office.

We're looking for self-starter candidates who realize the impact they can have on students deciding their educational and career paths. Your enthusiasm and passion for supporting their knowledge of and journey into the real estate field is a must to be successful in this role. You'll also need at least three years of work experience that's related to building or managing student development programs. Academic institution experience / knowledge is a big plus.

Salary : $74 - $77
