What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager of Operations - Performance Optimization position at InStride Health?
About Us
InStride Health's mission is to deliver specialty anxiety and OCD care that works for every kid, teen, young adult, and family who needs it. Through this mission, we are expanding access to insurance-based care, increasing engagement in treatment, and improving treatment outcomes. We are doing this by combining research-backed clinical care and innovative technology to eliminate the major problems with care today: difficulty finding providers, months of waiting to be seen, arduous onboarding processes, and inconsistent use of evidence-based therapies and outcomes tracking. Our vision is to become the nation's most trusted provider of pediatric anxiety and OCD care.
Team InStride Health: Our Core Values
As the Senior Manager of Operations, you will lead our efforts to ensure every step of the patient journey is seamless, compassionate, and fully supported by our team of providers and patient/family experience staff. This role is responsible for driving both the strategy and execution of capacity planning and resource optimization across our clinical and non-clinical patient facing teams—from ensuring timely patient engagement and onboarding to scheduling treatment with our cross state multidisciplinary care teams. You will oversee the resource optimization staffing model and network management strategy to ensure an exceptional experience that prioritizes service excellence, patient and family satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Your role will interact and span across teams responsible for patient admissions, scheduling, and multidisciplinary care teams, ensuring timely access into care for our patients and families. You will partner with our licensing and credentialing team and work closely with our care team leaders, patient and family experience team, and talent team to ensure we are proactively building our network to meet the needs of patients and families. You will also play a pivotal role working with our growth and payor management teams to support expansion initiatives for new markets, products, or lines of business.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with broad operational expertise, a history of creative problem-solving, and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders. You will excel at balancing vision with hands-on execution, demonstrating the ability to pivot between leading initiatives and providing direct support when needed.
Your leadership will be rooted in our core tenets of timely access, high quality, and an exceptional patient experience. Through collaboration with care teams, patients, and their families, you will ensure that our operations reflect the heart of our mission—supporting families with both efficiency and empathy at every stage of their journey.
If you are driven by a passion for improving lives and thrive in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment, we'd love to hear from you. Together, we'll create a streamlined, compassionate experience for the families we serve.
