We are looking for an excellent learning professional with experience in instructional design, eLearning development, and facilitation skills to help support training initiatives across Global Product Monitoring. The Learning & Development Specialist will be well-versed in creating materials for instructor-led, self-directed, virtual classroom, web-based and or blended learning solutions as well as other communication processes with Adult Learning Principles top of mind. The role will also provide opportunities for facilitation as well as collaboration with stakeholders for assessment and implementation. Strong organizational skills, flexibility, team player and a positive attitude are important qualities as well. Reporting to the Sr. Director, GPM - Investigations, Insights, & Operating Mechanisms, this individual will play an integral part on the training team during a time of tremendous growth.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $77,100.00 - $115,650.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Responsibilities
- Consult with stakeholder groups to assess and analyze learning and training needs, identify delivery methods, and insure successful and sustainable implementation
- Strong communication, research, presentation, and public speaking skills
- Designs and develops learning materials such as instructor-led, self-directed, virtual classroom, web-based and or blended learning solutions
- Apply interaction design and interactive learning principles to instructional solutions for adult learners
- Designs and develops Facilitator Guides, Participant Guides, Quick Reference Guides, Job Aids, and Audio/Video scripts
- Makes training recommendations consistent with established development time frames
- Works collaboratively with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to conduct needs analysis and develop learning objectives for all programs.
- Delivers high impact training both in person and virtually online
- Collaborates with team for training design and implementation
- Functions as the administrator of the LMS for the GPM Organization
- Upload and configure e-learning content into learning management system
- Support other initiatives as assigned by the Sr. Director, GPM – Investigations, Insights, & Operating Mechanisms
- Perform other duties as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or Associate Degree with the equivalent experience
- 5-7 Years experience designing, developing and delivering learning programs in a corporate or highly regulated environment
- Prior experience training in a Post Market Surveillance environment preferred
- Formal training in Instructional Design, job aid design, adult learning theory, delivery systems and evaluation techniques is a plus
- Experience in medical device or clinical training industry
- Prior experience with a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Stress management skills and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility, diagnostic information gathering, analytical thinking, initiative, self-confidence, and customer orientation
- Ability to align customer and business needs for outstanding outcomes
- Ability to generate and maintain accurate records
- Fluent in utilization of Articulate, Captivate and ability to learn other platforms as needed
- Proven experience working in or supporting a dynamic fast-moving service industry.
- Strong experience project managing the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning programs and initiatives.
- Able to perform duties in a virtual environment as needed in a remote setting
- Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed for team events or uptraining
- International travel up to 10% of the time
- Possible overseas travel
- Lightweight lifting may be required
