Learning and Development Specialist

As a Teacher at KinderCare Learning Companies, you will:

• Lead and mentor less experienced teachers, modeling behaviors and providing feedback
• Implement our research-backed curriculum to meet the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support center success by partnering with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

• Excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to multitask
• A Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements
• Approved state trainer status (preferred)
• 2-3 years of experience in early childhood education (preferred)
• A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred)
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• The physical ability to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors
• Able to assume postures to allow physical and visual contact with children, see and hear well enough to keep them safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• Fluency in English to communicate with children and their parents
