JOB TITLE: Account Executive

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: High School Diploma required. Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred.
- Experience: 2-3 years of customer service experience or related field preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills required to be able to initiate, establish, and nurture meaningful business relationships through electronic, telephonic, and face-to-face communications.
- Excellent written and verbal communications. Exceptional telephonic customer service skills.
- Possess a positive demeanor and attitude to perform successfully in a highly active, team setting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and time management skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including, but not limited to Microsoft Office, and agency management systems.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Light Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 lbs. with a maximum lifting of 25 lbs.
JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONAL SKILLS
- Present information to new and existing clients about coverage opportunities and service expectations based on products offered.
- Educate new and existing customers on their insurance needs and concerns – cross-selling products and services as appropriate.
- Service existing clients and advise on all their insurance needs.
- Provide information to underwriting in order to facilitate carrier quotation.
- Maintain documentation to adhere to carrier binding requirements and procedures.
- Work with the Team Leader, Commercial Lines Manager and Personal Lines Manager to ensure sales targets are achieved.
- Support clients by providing technical support, product education, and up-to-date information as needed.
- Attend and participate in ongoing education for industry knowledge.
