The Position
This role involves investigating, evaluating, setting reserves, negotiating, and settling property damage claims. The successful candidate will have experience handling first-party property damage claims and be able to communicate effectively with insureds.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle 1st party property claims efficiently.
- Conduct thorough coverage analysis and communicate findings to the insured.
- Investigate and evaluate all relevant facts to determine coverage, damages, and liability for first-party property damage claims.
- Negotiate disposition of claims with insureds and claimants or their legal representatives.
- Implement alternative dispute resolution methods as needed.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 620 Licensure required.
- 3 years of experience processing property damage claims.
