What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Insurance Service Center - De Pere, LLC?
Full-time or Part-Time (Remote work is available if certain criteria can be met and excellent levels of performance are maintained). Some in-person meetings and training sessions are required, therefore the ideal applicant will live within 25 miles of De Pere, WI. Pay range varies based on experience.
**Wisconsin Property and Casualty Insurance License is required within 90 days of employment.**.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Assist agents with new business sales and re-quoting existing clients.
- Schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls
- Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Take the extra mile to engage customers
Skills
- Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Wisconsin Property & Casualty insurance license (must be obtained with 90 days of hire - no cost to employee)
- Experience with AMS360 (Vertafore) is helpful but not required.
- Experience with PL Rater (Vertafore) is helpful but not required.
- Strong computer skills and ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm.
