Job Opportunity: Office Registrar – Birth Certificate & Documentation Specialist
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Office Registrar to join our Birthing Unit team. This role focuses on completing birth certificates and other important documentation for the unit in a sensitive and supportive environment.
Job Summary:
- Primary responsibility will be completing birth certificates and assisting with the documentation process related to pregnancy outcomes.
- Must be available for shifts from 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, with a guaranteed 32 hours per week.
- Expected start date: February 10, 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately complete and process birth certificates and related documentation.
- Work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a respectful and caring manner.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
Requirements:
- 3 years of current experience as an office registrar.
- Must be a MA Notary (bonded and insured) – this is required and cannot be waived.
- High school graduate or GED.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Proficiency in Meditech, Excel, and Word preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to work independently and stay organized.
- Must be able to comprehend, speak, and write in English.
Shift Details:
- Guaranteed 32 hours per week – 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
- Shift times: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.50 per hour
