What are the responsibilities and job description for the Print Production Operator position at InSync Consulting?

Job Description

Essential Job Duties :

Perform all tasks necessary for completing assigned printing jobs efficiently and accurately, ensuring high-quality output.
Set up printing presses for each job, including adjusting the paper tray, master, receding stacker, ink rollers, and moisture rollers to ensure optimal operation.
Mix inks and solutions as required, ensuring the right color consistency for each print job.
Calculate and verify the appropriate paper size needed for each job, ensuring specifications are met.
Operate printing machinery, continuously monitoring processes to maintain quality and address any issues that arise.
Verify the accuracy of printed materials and quantities, conducting thorough quality checks before finalization.
Set up, operate, and adjust inserters for mailing materials to customers and patients, ensuring that inserter and printed quantities match accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized printing area, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.

Required Skills & Experience :

Minimum of six months of experience in a printing environment.

Basic computer knowledge, including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheets, and illustrating software. Familiarity with queries, macros, and printing operating systems is a plus.

Strong customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism and a commitment to meeting client needs.

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to carry materials and equipment as necessary.

Strong hearing and listening skills for effective communication.

Capable of lifting and maneuvering materials, with good manual dexterity for operating machinery.

Excellent visual acuity to ensure quality control of printed materials.

Ability to pull and push materials as required.
