Hours : Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM

Overview
The Bilingual Customer Service Representative will provide personalized and competent customer service to internal and external customers inquiring about purchases and payments.
This role involves responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, providing contractual information via phone or email, and collaborating with internal departments for clarification of details.
Additionally, this position performs administrative and clerical duties to support Customer Care.
Job Description
- Answer incoming customer calls; listen attentively to concerns and questions to identify core needs.
- Reiterate concerns or needs to confirm understanding with the customer.
- Clearly communicate resolution options and timeframes.
- Enter caller contact information, issues, and resolutions into software.
- Provide service that meets service level agreements (SLAs).
- Respond to billing inquiries, quote balances, provide payoff information, and process paid-in-full notifications.
- Accept payments over the phone and by mail, adhering to privacy and regulatory guidelines.
- Contact internal departments to verify or clarify cemetery property or funeral service purchases and agreements for accurate and timely resolution.
- Escalate advanced cases to management for input or resolution.
- Initiate outbound calls to resolve issues or follow up, as needed.
- Complete responsibilities in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain Customer Care processes, procedures, and job aids as required.
- Recommend process improvements to management for enhanced efficiency.
Key Performance Metric : Proactively learn and stay updated on company products and industry terminology to facilitate effective customer issue resolution.
Required Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain composed under duress.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with call center phone software (preferred).
- Proficient in handling billing inquiries, payment processing, and customer interaction.
Education Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
Experience Requirements
- At least 2 years of customer service experience.
- Call center experience is a plus.
