Payroll Specialist
Pay Rate : $33 / hr, paid weekly
Hybrid : M / T / W in office, Th / F remote
8am - 5pm
Training : First 2-3 weeks fully in-office

Summary
The Payroll Operations & Employee Service Specialist ensures accurate payroll processing and employee support. This role collaborates with the Managed Services Provider, resolves payroll inquiries, and maintains compliance with legal, tax, and audit requirements.
Responsibilities
Process and verify payroll data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Partner with the Managed Services Provider to meet payroll deadlines.
Analyze and correct data discrepancies between HRIS and payroll systems.
Review and approve payroll reports, identifying and resolving errors.
Support garnishment processing and compliance.
Provide employee assistance on payroll, taxes, and deductions.
Maintain confidentiality, data privacy, and SOX compliance.
Process off-cycle payrolls to meet state final pay requirements.
Manage tickets in ServiceNow and ADP CRM tools.
Requirements
Education : Associate degree or equivalent experience.
Experience : 3-5 years of multi-state payroll processing (5,000 employees).
Preferred : ADP GlobalView, Ceridian Dayforce, or SAP experience.
Certification (Preferred) : Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC).
