Lead Plant Operator
Starting Pay Rate : $20 per hr, paid weekly
Hours :
6pm-630am-" Swing Shift" will need to be flexible with working weekends 1 or 2 times a month.
3 days on, 3 days off, 4 days on. Rotating Weekends

Summary
Seeking a self-starter with a strong mechanical aptitude to lead a team of operators at our facility. Candidate will need to be able to adjust and learn all aspects of equipment / manufacturing process to guide his team towards success.
Responsibilities as Lead :
Steer the team in the right direction and provide support to ensure high performance.
Lead by example as a high-performing operator
Work closely with team members, delegate tasks and influence the team.
Resolve conflicts effectively, and foster a collaborative atmosphere.
Motivate team members, creating a positive and productive environment where everyone feels respected
Strong mechanical skills and equipment knowledge.
Ability to delegate tasks and influence the team.
Responsibilities
Lead by example as a high-performing operator,
Safely perform work and adhere to all company policies related to the company Health and Safety program.
Monitor and adjust plant equipment to ensure the product is consistent and free from quality defects.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow established equipment operating guidelines and be able to recognize issues as they arise.
Record equipment settings and product quality information on a routine basis.
Walk the assigned work area and ensure equipment is performing in the correct manner.
Communicate with supervisors and team members regularly.
Report on condition and items in need of maintenance.
Operate wheel loader and forklift equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Physical Demands
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to perform in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
Must be able to do repetitive motions.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to perform all duties, including standing and squatting for extended periods of time, work in an environment with dust and noise, and around equipment
