Program Mgr. Process Improvement - Lean Six Sigma

Responsibilities

  • Supports Tier 1 projects by partnering with stakeholders to establish quantifiable measures of success (benefit realization).
  • Analyzes and assesses process improvement initiatives involving complex factors, providing senior leadership with actionable program proposals for consideration.
  • Consults with leaders and teams across the enterprise to identify, diagnose, and problem solve organizational effectiveness problems and solutions.
  • Assists with the delivery of key projects to improve quality, reduce costs, increase productivity, and improve cycle time by reducing wasted time, rework, etc.
  • Provides schools and tools, technical and analytical support for process improvement initiatives.
  • Manages completion of special projects as they arise and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience

Required :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience
  • 10 years of program management experience. Demonstrated knowledge of Continuous improvement / Lean Six Sigma for Financial Services focused Organizations
  • ASQ Black Belt (BB) certification
  • Portfolio management experience
  • Preferred :

  • Master’s degree
  • Insurance or reinsurance industry knowledge
  • Prosci Certified Change Practitioner
  • 12 years project delivery experience
  • Advanced knowledge / expertise and advancement of quality improvement methodologies
  • Skills and Abilities

  • Highly advanced oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to quickly work under tight deadlines and stressful conditions

  • Highly advanced ability to translate business needs and problems into viable / accepted solutions
  • Highly advanced ability to manage multiple projects and / or teams simultaneously
  • Highly advanced ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional, and technical disciplines
  • Highly advanced persuasion and negotiation skills when working with internal customers
  • Advanced influence, mediation & conflict management skills
  • Preferred :
