Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing employee benefits, payroll processing, onboarding / offboarding, workplace training, and general HR support. The ideal candidate will have experience in benefits administration, payroll management, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities :

Employee Benefits Administration :

  • Manage employee benefits, including insurance and 401(k) plans.
  • Collaborate with brokers and third-party administrators (TPA) for self-insured health plans.
  • Oversee 401(k) administration through Fidelity, ensuring compliance and employee enrollment.
  • Provide support to employees regarding benefit questions and issues.

Payroll Management :

  • Process payroll accurately and timely using Paychex.
  • Ensure timesheets are reviewed and corrected as needed.
  • Manage payroll compliance and maintain payroll records.
  • Address employee payroll inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Onboarding & Offboarding :

  • Oversee new hire paperwork, benefits enrollment, and IT system setup.
  • Conduct new employee orientations and ensure smooth integration.
  • Manage offboarding processes, including exit interviews and benefits termination.
  • HR Operations & Compliance :

  • Handle workers' compensation claims and liaise with insurance providers.
  • Provide guidance on conducting performance reviews and employee evaluations.
  • Organize and coordinate workplace training programs (anti-harassment, compliance, etc.).
  • Support the general hiring process, including job postings and candidate coordination.
  • Assist with workplace management tasks and ensure a positive employee experience.
  • Employee Engagement & Events :

  • Plan and coordinate company events such as team outings, holiday parties, and employee appreciation activities (e.g., Indians’ games, company celebrations, etc.).
  • Foster a positive and inclusive company culture through engagement initiatives.
  • Qualifications & Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3 years of HR experience, including benefits administration and payroll management.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, compliance, and employment laws.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and payroll software (experience with Paychex and Fidelity preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
