Our joint venture, NTK Precision Axle, located in Frankfort, Indiana is searching for a Sr. HR Generalist to join our team. This individual will report to the Human Resources & EHS Leader and be responsible for the following duties to contribute to achieving company performance goals :

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversees and participates in candidate sourcing activities and the recruitment process to fill production-related and salaried / professional positions.
• Maintains communications with staffing agencies, manages staffing performance and develops candidate sourcing and recruiting strategies through use of company applicant tracking system (ATS)
• Coordinates management training in interviewing, selection / hiring, employee relations, corrective actions, performance reviews, and company policies.
• Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
• Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
• Plans and participates in new employee orientation to foster positive employee relations and high levels of employee engagement.
• Assists with administering the performance review and salary / wage administration programs to ensure effectiveness, and compliance efforts within the organization.
• Conducts wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate.
• Prepares reports and recommends procedures to improve employee retention.
• Assists with representing the organization at employee-related hearings and investigations.
• Learns company benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance for purposes of employee training and communications.
• Work with EHS to support critical company safety goals and training programs.
• Work with the Americas Region HR team in Illinois to support and implement regional HR programs and policies.
