JOB TITLE: Staff Development Specialist
CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Non-Exempt
PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT: Staff Development: Training and Education
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Director of Training and Education
POSITION SUMMARY:
Supports Training and Education through development, delivery, and coordination of orientation training, annual refresher training, retention activities and continued education of agency staff. This position performs general clerical and administrative functions and assists the Director of Training and Education in their duties. Is responsible to maintain documentation regarding orientation and related training needs, retention activities and maintains knowledge of agency training requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Education, Training & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Two (2) years’ experience utilizing various computer software programs to perform messaging, scheduling, documentation and other related tasks.
Preferred Education, Training & Experience:
Experience utilizing Relias, Dayforce, Zoom, Teams, Canva and Microsoft Office Products
Experience with public speaking/training
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to adapt/adjust to onboarding needs
Valid Driver’s License that meets agency standards, reliable transportation
Ability and willingness to travel to various agency sites in different counties
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats
Ability to provide a positive, accommodating and safe learning environment
Comfortability with adapting technology, Bluetooth, use of smart TV as a monitor, etc. for training purposes
Ability to work independently without supervision
SALARY:
$23 per hour starting rate based on experience
