Job Title – Parts Clerk (Maintenance)
Company Location – Wilmington, Ca
On-site, Full Time, Temporary
Pay – Up to $27/hr. DOE
Shift: 8am to 4:30pm (M-F)
Job Summary of the Parts Clerk position
Integr8staff seeks a reliable Maintenance Parts Clerk to be responsible for daily the parts inventory, receiving and parts management needed include cycle counts, transacting issued parts in the Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and notifying the buyer of parts needed to purchase and adding new parts to stock.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Parts Clerk position
Physically receive parts, supplies and equipment that are delivered to the Plant for the Engineering and Maintenance Team or are ordered by such for any other department. Deliver to intended recipient or place physically in stock.
Log parts in both Oracle and the CMMS that were ordered for or by the maintenance department. Ensure bills of lading, shippers, etc. for the receipts are scanned and saved
Receive in Oracle completed service work to service PO’s.
Work with the requester to ensure timely communication of completed work and receiving of invoices against the PO.
Work with the buyer to check the PO Spread Sheet to keep abreast of when parts are due
Update the PO spread sheet with confirmation of receipt.
Manage the physical organization of the Plant Stockrooms, ensuring parts are in the proper location and maintaining the labeling of parts bins.
Perform periodic analysis of each system in the plant and create a list of each part that should be held in stock
Run a daily transaction report in the CMMS to review what has been taken from inventory
Perform frequent, periodic Cycle Counts to determine inventory accuracy
Work with Mechanics, Engineers and Leadership on various plant improvements as assigned
Requirements of the Maintenance Parts Clerk position
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
Good problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software, especially Excel.
Strong typing skills.
Excellent negotiating, interpersonal and customer service skills.
2 to 5 years’ experience as a Parts Coordinator
Experience with financial rules, financial reporting and analyzing.
Some experience with identifying machine parts and understanding their function.
Fluent in Spanish is a plus.
Prolonged periods of standing, walking and lifting and be able to lift to 50 pounds at times.
