INTEGRA Biosciences Corporation is an industry leader of innovative liquid handling products for the medical diagnostics, pharmaceutical, biotech, and food industries. The Logistics Specialist oversees and coordinates the distribution operations of the warehouse and ensures products get to their destinations in a timely and accurate manner.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work closely with ERP implementation team to make sure proper systems are in place.
- Facilitate and manage corporate annual physical inventory
- Prepare presentations for meetings as needed
- Assist in Intralogistics Optimization and Expansion Projects
- Assist with the planning, scheduling, and coordinating the supply, material flow, and storage of inventory from the supplier to the customer
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including tracking stock levels, replenishment, and inventory turnover.
- Implement, develop and report inventory control measures to minimize stock shortages and overages including cycle counts.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Create & monitor KPI's, including inventory, shipping, picking and replenishment.
- Manage inventory in efficient ways to promote lean initiatives and boost warehouse picking/shipping KPI's
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor current workflows and explore alternate processes including automation to ensure efficient operations and identify areas for process improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and finance, to develop strategies for optimizing inventory management and meeting business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings, process efficiencies, workflow and space optimization.
- Implement best practices and lean principles to identify process bottlenecks, streamline operations and reduce waste.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, safety, and accountability.
- Analyze data on a regular basis
- Maintain confidentiality as per facility regulations
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience required
- SAP / INFOR ERP experience preferred
- Strong data analysis and MS Excel Skills
- Experience with Inventory Management and Data Analysis
- Warehouse Automation experience preferred
- Experience with Project Management & related tools
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
