The Change Management and Culture Manager is responsible for leading and managing organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions, and fostering a culture that aligns with the company’s mission, values, and objectives. This role involves creating and implementing strategic plans to manage change, enhance employee engagement, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

This role is hybrid between Princeton, NJ and remote. Office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The Change Management and Culture Manager is responsible for leading and managing organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions, and fostering a culture that aligns with the company’s mission, values, and objectives. This role involves creating and implementing strategic plans to manage change, enhance employee engagement, and promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Change Management:
- Develop and implement change management strategies, plans, and processes.
- Lead change management activities to ensure implementation is understood
- Conduct stakeholder meetings to align change approach to the business needs and expectations to ensure adherence. Assess organizational readiness and identify potential barriers to change.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of change on employee performance, morale, and productivity.
- Provide coaching and support to leaders and managers to manage their teams through change.
- Conduct change impact assessments and create mitigation strategies for potential risks.
- Develop and implement strategies to shape and nurture a positive organizational culture.
- Champion the company’s core values and ensure they are reflected in day-to-day operations.
- Facilitate initiatives that promote inclusion, diversity, and employee engagement.
- Identify areas for cultural improvement and implement strategies to address gaps.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development by promoting growth opportunities.
- Support leadership in aligning organizational values and behaviors with business goals.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and performance.
- Conduct regular employee surveys and gather feedback to understand employee needs and concerns.
- Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to create tools, resources and education to take action on feedback and improve employee experience.
- Create a feedback-rich environment where employees feel valued and heard.
- Design and implement communication plans that effectively convey change initiatives to all levels of the organization, in collaboration with corporate communications.
- Develop communication materials, including presentations, newsletters, job aids / quick reference materials, and FAQs, to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Ensure that communication is consistent, clear, and timely throughout the change process.
- Deploy communications that support the change timelines and transformation outcomes expected
- Collaborate with Talent Management to assess training needs related to change initiatives and develop training programs to support employee adaptation.
- Provide coaching and guidance to COE and leaders facilitate the change process and reinforce new behaviors.
- Monitor the effectiveness of change and support initiatives, making adjustments as needed.
- Establish metrics to measure the success of change initiatives and track progress against objectives.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the effectiveness of change management strategies.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate results and recommendations to leadership.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience:
- 5 years of experience in change management, organizational development, culture transformation, or HR.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale change initiatives.
- Experience in fostering a positive organizational culture and driving employee engagement programs.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter’s 8-Step Model).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships in a matrix organization across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to think strategically and provide practical solutions to complex problems.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset, with experience using data to measure the success of change and culture programs.
- A deep understanding of organizational dynamics and the ability to navigate complex, evolving environments.
- Ability to exercise good judgment with respect to data privacy and security and handle sensitive information respectfully and compassionately and maintain confidentiality
- Deep commitment to exceptional customer service
- Exceptional relationship building and collaboration skills for leading and working with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills that include taking appropriate action to move open cases forward to resolution in a timely manner
- Effective verbal and written communication skills that support building strong partnerships, appropriate influence, and portraying an objective and defensible position on situations
- Make effective decisions in ambiguous situations
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, highly collaborative and evolving organization
