We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sedation/ Recovery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a state-of-the-art Office-Based Lab (OBL) in Daytona, FL. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing vascular and interventional radiology procedures, with a focus on sedation management, monitoring, and post-procedure recovery. This role is critical in ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal clinical outcomes.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sedation/ Recovery Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at a state-of-the-art Office-Based Lab (OBL) in Daytona, FL. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing vascular and interventional radiology procedures, with a focus on sedation management, monitoring, and post-procedure recovery. This role is critical in ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation during interventional radiology procedures.
- Continuously assess and document patient vital signs, sedation levels, and overall status.
- Provide post-procedure recovery care, ensuring a smooth and safe transition from sedation to full consciousness.
- Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care, discharge instructions, and follow-up plans.
- Collaborate with interventional radiologists and the medical team to optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of sedation administration, patient responses, and recovery progress.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines, safety protocols, and infection control policies.
- Assist in managing emergency situations, including airway support and cardiovascular monitoring.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in recovery, sedation, PACU, ICU, or interventional radiology settings preferred.
- Proficiency in administering and monitoring moderate sedation.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required.
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Knowledge of vascular procedures such as angiograms, venograms, prostate artery embolization (PAE), and genicular artery embolization (GAE) is a plus.
