Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Select and test material or product for papermaking and finished product quality defects such as sheet length, sheet width, roll diameter, and surface defects.
- Operates diagnostic equipment needed to perform job.
- Performs related duties as needed by supervisor.
Education and Experience :
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, a related technical field, or equivalent and with satisfying customers in technology-driven, developing companies.Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. The ability to measure, read, and interprets ruler measurements.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :

Knowledge of Tissue and Towel Analytical Testing methods, techniques and equipment.
Knowledge and use of a wide variety of measuring instruments.
Experience with FDA, and or Quality System (i.e., ISO 9001 / 9002 / 9003, QAKE) rules, regulations, including planning and implementation of systems.
