Pilgrim's is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee our deboning department. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of productivity and quality while maintaining a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:
- Train and develop employees to achieve their maximum potential in terms of quality and productivity.
- Plan and schedule manpower, materials, and equipment to optimize departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage employee performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching when necessary.
- Investigate areas of quality improvement, cost reduction, and method improvement, and implement suggestions.
- Promote a culture of safety throughout the department.
Requirements:
- 1 years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced food production environment.
- Leadership skills with 20 employees.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a team environment.
