We are looking for a motivated, friendly, highly functioning individual to join our busy dermatology team!
Job Description
- Escort patients to the exam room.
- Assist Provider with exam and procedure, administering medications, and performing tests.
- Assist patients with questions about medications, usage, and wound care.
- Ensure all related reports, labs, and acquired information is available in the patient’s medical records.
- Triage and relay messages from patients and staff to the providers.
- Clean and restock examination and surgery rooms.
- Sterilize instruments.
- Scheduling appointments
- Following all OSHA regulations
- Regularly interacts with providers and other departments in order to identify and resolve issues
Qualifications
- Experience utilizing EMR systems
- Computer and iPad savvy
- Aiding team members as necessary
Job Type:
- Full time : Monday-Friday, 7:45 am to 5 pm
- Strict attendance and punctuality
Experience:
- 2-3 years medical assistant experience
- Dermatology experience is a huge plus
- Knowledge of biologics and medication prior authorization process
Education:
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Certified Nursing Assistant
