Accountant
Job Description: Provides financial reporting information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data for Integrated Electronic Technologies
Job Duties:
- Perform account reconciliations
- Develop, maintain and analyze budgets
- Perform financial and accounting analysis
- Research variances
- Prepare month-end close adjustments and reconciliations
- Prepare journal entries
- Prepare, examine or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to standards
- Additional responsibilities as per management direction
Skills and Qualifications :
- Minimum of Associate Degree in Business Administration and/or Accounting/Finance, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of two years experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of Standard Financial and Accounting practices and procedures
- Must be able to operate Microsoft office products including Access, and Peachtree Accounting
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that may include nights and weekends as needed
- Must be able to pass a background and drug test
- Must have good analytical, communication, deadline oriented reporting, general math, and time management skills
