What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at Integrated Food Service?
Under the direct supervision of the Quality Control Supervisor, the Quality Control Technician II is responsible for ensuring that the finished product is of high quality, safe, and legal, through continuous testing and monitoring.
General Position Overview and/or Requirements:
- Inspects, calibrates, validates, and monitors products with thermometers, weight scales, metal detectors, and material handling equipment.
- Assures compliance of HACCP systems through testing, validations, and verifications.
- Ensures that products meet the required standards through inspection of ingredients, packaging and finished products.
- Perform pre-operational/operational inspections to assure compliance with sanitation standard.
- Takes immediate action as necessary to correct observed food safety violations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
