Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planning Manager to oversee and optimize supply chain planning operations within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of material flow, ensuring seamless coordination between inbound, outbound, and internal logistics. Supply Chain Planning Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Supply Chain Planning function, ensuring alignment with business and operational goals.
- Develop and oversee supply chain planning strategies for high-volume manufacturing operations.
- Manage all flow-related activities, including incoming, outgoing, and internal logistics within the plant.
- Oversee the Master Production Plan, analyzing demand and resource availability while implementing necessary adjustments.
- Coordinate product lifecycle transitions, including ramp-up, ramp-down, and obsolescence management.
- Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide strong leadership, including goal setting, performance management, competency development, and team engagement.
Supply Chain Planning Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in supply chain planning or logistics.
- Proven expertise in production planning, inventory management, and process optimization.
- 2-3 years of experience working with SAP in a supply chain or planning function.
- Experience leading a team of 20 salaried direct reports with a focus on performance management and development.
- Experience managing a supply chain operation with an annual budget of $70 million .
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
