Saw Operator - 2nd Shift
2nd Shift, Monday - Thursday (4 P.M. - 2 A.M.)
Summary/Objective:
IMS is currently seeking an energetic and highly motivated individual to join our team as a 2nd Shift Saw Operator. The incumbent will work under minimal supervision, load, unload, and move materials within or near yard, shop, and/or warehouse. Recognize materials and saw to customer and/or job specifications.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Follow written and oral instructions as assigned
- Operate loading and unloading equipment (fork truck, pallet jack, hand, etc.) in a safe and responsible manner
- Verifies material against job traveler by sight and/or measurement
- Operate horizontal band saws and blade recognition with various materials.
- Track jobs completed through work area and staging of material for corresponding jobs
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Remove chip materials from shop area to scrap bins as needed
- Keep general work area clean, organized and free of trash and clutter
- Provide courteous and professional service during customer or vendor interactions
- Other duties as assigned by the area supervisor
Qualifications and Skills
Must have at least 2 years of experience
High school diploma or GED required
