Compensation : $225,000-$250,000
Job Purpose : The Division President is responsible for leading, overseeing operations as well as partnership initiatives and performance of his / her defined division. The Division President is a hands-on leader and leads by example in continuing to foster and create a high-performance, “Best in Class” culture driven by the CEO and COO. He / She will ensure the delivery of quality patient care by offering a climate of empowerment, learning, mentoring and assuring that policies, procedures and standards are implemented, monitored and evaluated.
Essential Functions
- Full ownership, leadership and management of all operational initiatives, P&L’s / financials, and operation team members for assigned division.
- Develops short-term and long-term operational strategies and top-line growth initiatives and goals in partnership with COO (and executive leadership) and lead the execution of those goals to achieve measurable outcomes in a timely, cost-effective and profitable manner.
- Oversees regional leaders, practice administrators and key team members to serve as a valuable resource in developing and executing practice level goals and support achieving annual budget with long-term success and growth of each practice and the division.
- Serves as a cultural leader of excellence in organization; monitors and manages team morale.
- Serves as an example in championing respect for team members, owners and those served in the community. Embrace diversity in team members and partners; adheres to overarching imperatives of fairness, objectivity and integrity in all dealings and is a model for other team members.
- Develops, manages and maintains strong, strategic relationships with physician stakeholders to align goals, improve patient care, and ensure the division's success. Facilitates regular communication, address concerns, and integrate their expertise into decision-making processes to drive clinical and operational excellence.
- Builds and nurtures robust partnerships with strategic partners to enhance service offerings, drive innovation, and achieve mutual growth objectives. Leverages these relationships to create synergies, expand market presence, and deliver superior value to patients and stakeholders.
- Consults and builds strong working relationship with People Resources team – both proactively and reactively - in all team member relations, recruiting key team members, and team member engagement matters.
- Builds strong team of VPs, Senior Directors, Directors, etc. to include coaching, developing and mentoring.
- Leads the practice level budget preparation process and drive the implementation of practice improvements.
- Applies data centric approach using KPI’s to understand the business and growth drivers, collaborating with COO and responsible leader / team members for implementing performance improvement goals and initiatives throughout division and at all practices.
- Serves as a liaison between COO / executive leadership and operators to ensure practices are receiving adequate enterprise support for success in each functional area.
- Leads monthly meetings with key stakeholders in the division with a key focus on partner physicians.
- Ensures high quality patient care and compliance remain top priorities at each practice; develops and collects data that supports the maintenance of key quality / performance metrics.
- Willingness to travel 60-70% of the week to each practice location offering face-to-face support and operational best practices and guidance; seeks to listen, hear and understand practice feedback.
- Ensures compliance with applicable government laws, rules, regulations and (ION or Company) policies and procedures.
- Possesses strong management skills with the ability to mentor, coach, and lead team members without a direct reporting relationship.
- Cross-functional team approach with operations, people resources, finance, growth, business intelligence, FP&A, information technology and marketing.
- Gathers, analyzes, and presents data with useful metrics to executive leadership team to provide clarity on operational goals, initiatives, opportunities and challenges.
