Shipping and Receiving Inventory Clerk

IPS - MAST Technologies is seeking a Materials Handler / Shipping and Receiving Clerk / Inventory Control Specialist who is responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing shipments and maintaining accurate inventory levels. This role involves verifying and recording shipments, preparing items for shipment, ensuring that all inventory is accurately tracked and stored as well as conducting daily / weekly cycle counts.

Job Accountabilities

• The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Receives, stocks, and disburses parts or materials, loads or unloads trucks, and disburses parts, materials and supplies to other team members as required
• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices
• Maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items
• Examines stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped
• Posts weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment
• Managing the cycle counting of materials and production supply items
• Transacting the system for any inaccuracies found
• Reorganize staging areas for better efficiency of flow
• Issuing materials to the floor in a FIFO manner
• Evaluate inventory for aging, get disposition and dispose timely, as required
• Investigation of and recommending corrections in data deviations between the inventory system
• Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve any issues related to shipping and receiving
• Assist in managing stock levels and reporting shortages or excesses.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse, ensuring a clean and safe work environment.
• Supports the Facilities function as needed
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety regulations
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Job Specifications :

Education : A Secondary Certificate / High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
