Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM), overtime may be required

Report To: VP of Sales and Marketing

Position Summary:

The Account Executive & Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our electronics waste recycling business. This individual will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, identifying business opportunities, and driving sales efforts across various markets. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the electronics recycling industry, exceptional sales skills, and a passion for sustainability.

Essential Duties:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop a sales pipeline by reaching out to potential clients, including businesses, municipalities, school organizations and government organizations.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure their ongoing satisfaction and retention.
  • In-person or virtual meetings with existing and prospective clients
  • Attend and network at tradeshows and/or other events.
  • Conduct facility tours and off-site meetings with existing and prospective clients.
  • Adapt to occasional travel requirements for client meetings, industry events, or site visits.
  • Negotiate pricing and prepare quotes and contracts.
  • Identify, target, and engage new business opportunities in the electronics waste industry.
  • Negotiate and close deals with new clients while maintaining long-term relationships.
  • Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to expand the company’s presence in the market.
  • Work with IRT operations team and customers to ensure profitability of equipment purchased
  • Daily CRM utilization
  • Provide excellent customer service and act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding any concerns or needs related to electronics waste disposal and recycling.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance to ensure consistent engagement with clients, internal teams, and business operations.

Qualifications and Education:

  • Bachelor degree in business, marketing or related field preferred
  • 8-10 years in Corporate or B2B sales; Previous electronics, ITAD or eWaste purchasing experience is a must!
  • Consistent track record of maintaining existing and developing new vendor relationships
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products
  • Experience with commodity markets is a plus!
  • Ability to travel up to 40% (domestic and possibility for international travel)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
